Daily tasks
- Plan, organize, lead and monitor patient access to healthcare
- Meet with steering committees to ensure health standards in the department
- Develop and oversee systems for assessing the quality of care and services provided
- Create and implement new care, management and services programs
- Plan and monitor the budget associated with the department
- Recruit health professionals to increase the service offering
- Supervise a team of health professionals
