Radiation Technologist

Equipped with various diagnostic devices and radioactive substances, radiation technologists produce images to establish a diagnosis and observe the internal functioning of the patient’s organs. Radiation technologists work in collaboration with physicians to determine the most accurate diagnosis possible.

Daily tasks

  • Greet the patient to put them at ease during the medical examination
  • Ensure the patient’s safety during the examination
  • Use the radiology devices to produce the images necessary to diagnose a patient’s illness
  • Record, document and archive the images obtained in the patient's medical file
  • Advise other health professionals when working as a team
  • Use, supervise and maintain various ultrasound equipment to obtain images of the human body
